Affiliate program

Affiliate terms

Last updated 8 October 2026

In short: 30% of what referred customers pay, for as long as they pay, a 90-day referral window, a 30-day hold, monthly payouts from $50, and honest promotion only.

1. The program

These terms govern the AnswerSeat affiliate program. They supplement our Terms of Use and the policies in our Legal Center, which also apply to you. Where these terms and the Terms of Use conflict on an affiliate matter, these terms control.

Referral links, clicks, sales and commissions are recorded by our affiliate system. Its records are the basis for every commission calculation.

2. Joining

You join by applying and being approved. We review applications at our discretion and may decline or later remove any affiliate, including where we see a risk to our brand or customers.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. One affiliate account per person or company.

3. Commission

You earn 30% of the net amount we actually receive for each payment made by a customer you referred, for as long as that customer keeps paying for a plan and you remain in the program.

Net amount means the payment after discounts and coupons, and excluding taxes, payment processing fees, refunds and chargebacks.

A referral counts when a visitor clicks your link and buys a paid plan within 90 days. If several affiliate links were clicked, the last one before the purchase gets the credit.

Free plans, purchases by you or your household, and purchases made through your own link do not earn commission.

4. Hold and payout

Each commission is held for 30 days so refunds and disputes can clear. After the hold it becomes payable.

We pay monthly once your payable balance reaches $50. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.

You are responsible for any taxes on your commissions. We may ask for the tax or identity information our payment provider requires before paying.

5. Reversals

If a payment is refunded, charged back or found to be fraudulent, the commission on it is reversed. If it was already paid, we deduct it from your next payout.

6. What you may not do

  • Refer yourself, your household or accounts you control.
  • Bid on "AnswerSeat" or close variations, misspellings or our domain in search or social ads, or use them in your own domain names, app names or social handles.
  • Post our discount codes on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or pay or reward people for signing up.
  • Send unsolicited email, messages or comments (spam), or promote AnswerSeat on sites with illegal, hateful or adult content.
  • Make claims we do not make, such as guaranteed rankings, guaranteed AI citations or results in a set time.
  • Pretend to be AnswerSeat, use forced clicks, hidden links, cookie stuffing or any other method that sets a referral without a genuine click.
  • Use clickbait, fear or false urgency, for example "Google will remove your site" or "ChatGPT has blacklisted you", fake countdowns, fake scarcity or invented discounts.
  • Write fake reviews, testimonials or case studies, invent numbers, or present yourself as a customer if you are not one.
  • Buy, rent or scrape email lists, send bulk or cold email, mass direct messages, or automated posts and comments, including in forums, Reddit, Slack, Discord or other communities, unless you are a genuine member and the community allows it.
  • Mass-produce thin, keyword-stuffed or auto-generated pages that mention AnswerSeat, or doorway pages built only to send traffic.
  • Disparage competitors or publish comparisons with claims we have not made.
  • Use pop-ups, pop-unders, adware, browser extensions, bots, paid-to-click or other incentivised traffic.
  • Mention AnswerSeat in press releases, or describe your relationship with us as anything other than an affiliate, without our written approval.

7. Brand and quality standards

Describe AnswerSeat accurately: it measures whether AI assistants recommend a brand and gives fixes. It does not guarantee results. Use the current prices and features shown on answerseat.com and do not edit our screenshots or reports.

Paid ads in search or social networks that mention AnswerSeat need our written approval before they run.

We may review how you promote AnswerSeat at any time. If we ask you to change or remove content, do so within 48 hours. Commissions from traffic or content that breaks these terms are not payable, and serious or repeated breaches end your participation.

8. Disclosure

You must clearly tell your audience that you earn a commission when you recommend AnswerSeat, in the way the rules where you and your audience live require.

9. Use of our brand

While you are an approved affiliate you may use the AnswerSeat name, logo and the marketing material we provide, only to promote AnswerSeat and without changing them. This permission ends when your participation ends.

10. Changes and ending

We may change these terms or the commission rate with 14 days notice by email. Commissions already earned keep the terms that applied when they were earned.

Either side may end participation at any time. If we end it because you broke these terms, unpaid commissions are forfeited. Otherwise, commissions you earned are paid on the normal schedule.

11. Relationship and liability

You are an independent partner, not an employee, agent or representative of AnswerSeat, and you may not make commitments on our behalf.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under the program is limited to the commissions payable to you in the 12 months before a claim.
